As you may know, my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer just before Christmas which is why I chose to do the BUPA 10k run for this charity - to help raise awareness of the disease.  

Thankfully Dad's was caught in time but that's not always the case.  Prostate cancer is the most common male cancer and every year 35,000 men are diagnosed in the UK.  One man will die every hour from this disease. 

Thankfully my knee is on the mend now so I should be back in action soon enough to complete the 10k at the end of the month!
