Story
⭐️⭐️What a day! London did not disappoint.
Amazing atmosphere, crowds, entertainment and organisation from start to finish.
I will be nursing the blisters for a while but I don’t care - I did it, and I have raised money and awareness for Ataxia UK. That, after all, was the whole aim.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last four months of training. Your support has been invaluable. Special thanks to Mel of course, who kept me company on every training run, including the ones that started at 0530 to avoid the summer heat! I couldn’t have done it without you!
⭐️⭐️ With just about 8 weeks to go, it is finally time to re-launch my fundraising page for Ataxia UK.
⭐️⭐️ My deferred place from 2020 is happening in October this year and I am really excited.
⭐️⭐️ I have posted an update below ⬇️
‘Ataxia’ is an umbrella term for a group of neurological disorders that affect balance, coordination and speech. There are many different types of ataxia that affect people in different ways. Anyone of any age can get ataxia, but certain types are more common in certain age groups.
Some forms of ataxia are treatable, but in most cases there is still no cure.
Your donation will help support ongoing research to find a cure and to support a local family who are very close to my heart.

Thank you x
