It's that time again when I am asking for your kind generosity and much needed help. As some of you are already aware, my brother has Motor Neurone Disease, I did a Wing Walk on April 21st 2019 and tomorrow (October 6th) I will be doing my first half marathon in Cardiff to raise more money for the MND Association.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) effects the nerves (motor neurones) in the brain and spinal cord that tell your muscles what to do. With MND, messages from these nerves gradually stop reaching the muscles, leading them to weaken, stiffen and waste. MND cannot be stopped or reversed, but therapies, equipment and medication can help manage symptoms. These can all help people achieve the best possible quality of life.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association have been my brothers life line. They have supported him through this traumatic and very scary journey. Providing him with a wonderful volunteer who has a vast amount of knowlege and experience in all aspects of MND, providing him with equipment and communication aids, invaluable help from a care coordinator and lots more.
