Not only is today my birthday, but it also marks 4 months since the loss of my sister Rebecca, after her long battle with bi-polar disorder.

In one week from now, it will be what would have been Rebecca's 29th birthday. Inspired by my other sister Esther, I have decided to do something to honour Rebecca's memory. I hope to raise money for Papyrus (Suicide Prevention) by adding a little more colour into the world...

During Lockdown, I have sported some fun wigs and have been told I would actually suit the ombre pink look. WELL I have heard and I have listened. 

If I can raise £5000 by Rebecca's birthday, as soon as I can after lockdown, I will go to the hairdressers and go pink for real!! I cannot think of a more relevant cause, especially the week after Mental Health Awareness Week and also during lockdown - which has put a tremendous amount of strain on so many people's mental health and wellbeing.

Rebecca loved art and colour and at such a bleak and uncertain time, we can all do with a bit more colour in the world.
