Hello everyone, welcome to my fundraising page.

My goal for this year is to raise £7000 alongside Human Appeal, all of which will be donated to Tharparkar district, Pakistan where communities are currently living in conditions that need urgent attention. With poor sanitation and no access to safe drinking water to meet the basic standards of living, these people have no option but to resort to much more devastating alternatives. In the search for water, families including woman and children are exposed to many dangers as they are forced to walk for hours under the blazing sun, only to retrieve contaminated water from dried up wells. This is the same water that has killed thousands of children in Tharparkar. 

Safe water is the most basic necessity for life, yet it is in scarcity around the world, with 2 billion people drink water from a contaminated source. I am fundraising with Human Appeal to build solar panelled water pumps that will provide villages with clean water at their doorsteps. With your donations, we can provide a fresh supply that will last an entire lifetime.

Saad Ibn Ubadah asked the prophet (PBUH) what charity is best, to which the Prophet replied, “A drink of water”. And with water being mentioned 63 times in the Quran, every prophet has a story that reveals its importance.

The last 10 days of Ramadan have arrived, which I feel is one of the biggest opportunities to make an impact on the world. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran “The night of Decree is better than a thousand months” [Surah Al-Qadr, 97:3]. Giving charity on Laylatul Qadr is equivalent to giving for 83 years. Now is the time to give and maximise your rewards.
