We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

We have created the It's OKAY Project LTD to help others discuss their mental health experiences through creative responses. We have formed a Zine (a magazine without the maga) to present these creative responses of mental health struggles and achievements in aid to help raise awareness and open up the topic for discussion. Our Zine's are sold for five pounds and 20% of each sales goes to PAPYRUS UK through our Just Giving account. We decided to put together the project after losing loved ones through suicide and long personal battles with mental illness.

Zine available on www.itsokayproject.com @itsokayproj

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK. Every £5 raised can help pay for a life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK. Your donations really are lifesaving, thank you.
