Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

The big 5-0 is looming for us (Sara in August 2018 and Jon in July 2019)... and we say 'BRING IT ON'!!!! Age is a privilege denied to many, including Sara's wonderful brother Mark, who died of a brain tumour in 2016, at just 49 years old.

We miss Mark every day, but without doubt, he possessed a zest for life (albeit in his laid-back style!) and awesome courage. He would've loved to have thrown himself out of a plane at 10,000 feet, so we will be channelling his inner strength and fearlessness on 18th August 2018 when we will (literally) take a leap of faith. This one's for you, Mark.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate: they can affect anyone at any age. What's more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Jon and I would love to raise as much money as possible for Brain Tumour Research - in the hope of a cure - so that other families don't have to face the same heartbreaking loss.
