sara emery-hill is raising money for St Michael's Hospice (Hastings and Rother)
Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I'm running the Hastings Centenary Marathon on 14th December, recreating an event held once before in 1908 (no-one's been silly enough to run in a wet cold Hastings in December since!). The course wiggles through Hastings and the surrounding towns and villages of Battle, Catsfield, Ninfield, Sidley and Bexhill, and strangley enough I'm actually quite looking forward to it-I must admit I'm also rather excited about doing something other athn running after next weekend too!
I decided to try and raise some money for my local hospice, St. Michaels. It does a wonderful job caring for people with life limiting and terminal diseases, and has helped people close to me and also to some of you. I also know they are in need of funds at present, in this current economic climate. I'd love it if some of you could sponsor me to run for them.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Michael's Hospice (Hastings) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
