Charcot-Marie-Tooth UK (formerly CMT United Kingdom) is the national support group for people affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, aka Hereditary Motor and Sensory Neuropathy. We provide advice, support and information for people with the condition, family, carers and medical professionals.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our gorgeous Samuel was diagnosed with CMT at the age of 7, following a stroke.  Sam suffered 2 more strokes after Christmas last year, and is still recovering.

Since diagnosis, Sam has suffered muscle loss in his hands and legs, his hands tremor constantly,  he wears splints and uses a wheelchair.   Despite all this,  he wakes up singing, smiling and is so positive. Sam is very rarely down hearted, speaks kindly of everyone and is a real inspiration to us all.  Sam is selfless and fund raised over £200 for Red Nose Day this year!

So, to raise some funds for CMT Uk, my crazy, beautiful Momma is running a half marathon on May 18th on the island of Formentera.  So please, please donate what you can and support our Sam.

Thank you
