Pete Hayes Handsworth 10k Fun Run 2014 · 14 September 2014 ·
Hello lovelies. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running 10k in memory of my friend Pete, who tragically died of a heart infection 2 years ago when he was just 25 years old. The race is organised by Pete's family, and will be a fantastic way to honour Pete's memory, and raise money for the vital work of the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
I'm returning to the mighty brum on September 14th to force my dodgy knee round this very special 10k course. It would be wonderful if you could donate a couple of quid to cheer me along, and help join the fight against heart disease.
It will be a privilege to run in Pete's name, and to raise money for the BHF at the same time will be a wonderful bonus. Cardiovascular diseases cause more than a quarter of deaths in the UK, and 7 million people are living with heart diseases today, my own Dad among them. If you can spare a few pounds for the BHF then I'd really appreciate the support.
Thanks so much guys!
Barks xx
