Melanoma UK is a registered charity established in 2012, focused on raising awareness of melanoma (a form of skin cancer) and supporting those affected by it. The charity works to increase prevention through education and provide support to those working in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Story

I am running the London Marathon 2023 in memory of an amazing friend, Natalie. She brought joy to everyone, supported friends no matter what and always had a smile on her face. Devastatingly, Nat lost her over 4 year battle with Melanoma in November 2022 at the age of just 28.

Nat loved a challenge; from marathon walks to skydiving to the three peaks challenge so what better way than to honour her memory by running the London Marathon. She was the loudest supporter (with gin in hand) last time so I am sure she will be cheering me on again.

We miss her so much everyday, however every contribution to Melamona UK will support other patients, their families and friends whilst they go through treatment for this terrible disease. Melanoma UK is a smaller charity that Nat supported over the years and every small amount will help fund vital research.
