Story
The poncho project turns fleece blankets into ponchos to send to refugees living in and around Calais. Ponchos are easier for refugees to keep hold of than blankets and have proved to be incredibly helpful and popular. Creating these ponchos brings people together from across Cambridge and helps to raise awareness of what it's like to be a refugee in Calais.

CamCRAG was founded in 2015 by activists in and around Cambridge, with the aim of sending donations and volunteers to help refugees in the Calais area. We also organise donation drop off days, raise awareness of the refugee situation in Europe, and provide funds to frontline organisations.
