My husband, Rik, is doing his first ultramarathon (50km) on 5th Feb. Its a trail ultra around Pendle, called "Pendle Way in a Day". 

We thought we'd set up a just giving page to try to raise a little bit of money for our local church, Christ Church. I have been going here since being a small child. Unfortunately it is very much struggling financially due to increase outgoings and lack of donations due to a big reduction in parishioners. The church very much relies on these donations to keep on going and I would be so sad to see that it can no longer keep going. Our church is a massive support network to its parishioners and is a very family friendly, welcoming church. 

Rik is excited to give his first ultra the best shot he can and is pleased to be doing it for this deserving charity.
