As some of you will know, this August I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro; the world's tallest freestanding mountain.  The 6 day climb will see me climb over 85km up to a height of 6000m, through 7 ecological zones, from 30 degrees at the bottom to -25 at the top with 75mph winds.

This will, as you can imagine, be a massive challenge for me and a huge first and so I will be climbing for  a charity that I feel passionately about.  Shipston Home Nursing provides home nursing and care to terminally ill patients.  They provide this service free of charge to the local community in Warwickshire at an average of £3000 per patient. As an added bonus, BP will match every £ that you donate to this cause so your donations however small will have double the effect.

Please dig deep and give me the motivation to do all of this training!
