Blind Dog Rescue UK promotes blind and partially sighted dogs in need of a home, both here in the UK and abroad. We share information and support owners of blind and partially sighted dogs. BDRUK was set up in memory of wonderful blind dog Peaches. An ambassador and inspiration.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the end of June I am going to attempt to swim to France. As the crow flies this is about 21 miles, however with tides and currents, swimmers can swim 36 miles or more. This huge swimming challenge could potentially take 14 hours or more of non stop swimming.

Blind dog Rescue UK are a charity for whom I have fostered dogs, and adopted a dog. These blind and partially sighted dogs are often overlooked by people because they aren't 'perfect'. The charity rescues dogs from across Europe and re-homes them in the UK.

Please help them help more blind and partially sighted dogs. Their motto is : The Kind Leading the Blind.
