The Joshua Tree support and improve the emotional well-being and mental health of all family members affected by childhood cancer, in the North-West of England and North Wales. We offer support during and post treatment. All our support services are free to the families.

Story

Hello! My name is Erin and I am 9 years old. I have been dealing with Leukaemia and the complications associated with it since I was 2 years old. After I relapsed in 2016 I had a bone marrow transplant at Manchester Children's Hospital. This treatment saved my life but left me with Graft Verses Host Disease that affects my joints and skin. The only thing that helps this is exercise which I do daily.

The Joshua Tree charity is a local charity that has been supporting my family and myself since 2014. They help my family with counselling sessions, and I get lots of support through play therapy and having lots of fun. I want to support The Joshua Tree through this unprecedented time. To do this I am going to push my exercise sessions a bit further and cycle 5k a day on my exercise bike for 5 days!!!

Please support my fundraising campaign for The Joshua Tree and give what you can. Thank you!

The Joshua Tree is a Cheshire based Children's Cancer Charity. We operate across the North West and North Wales and are dedicated to working closely with families affected by childhood cancers. We tailor the services to suit the family’s specific needs, by means of emotional, academic and practical support, such as counselling, art and play therapy, health and well-being advice, support in and around the home and educational tutoring where required to help ensure that life remains as normal as possible during an incredibly traumatic time.
