Sarahs Final Fight

Brave the Shave · 9 September 2019

We are collecting donations in memory of our beautiful Sarah who passed away on the 25th of October after a 6 week battle in hospital.
The funeral will be taking place on the 10th of November at 14:30pm however due to COVID restrictions is only limited to immediate family. We understand people may wish to pay their respects and therefore have arranged for the funeral cars to pass The Chequers Pub in Billericay high street between 13:45 and 14:00pm.
The family have asked for flowers to be limited to family only however if you wish to make a donation in memory of Sarah please do so on this page as Sarah wished for all donations to be put to good cause and maybe one day find a cure for this horrible disease.

On the 9th September I will be braving the shave.
I am raising money to find a cure for all types of Cancer so that one day it will stop ripping families apart as it has done with mine and so many families I know.
My Story
For anyone that doesn't already know, on the 24th July this year we were told the hideous news that my Breast Cancer had returned for the third time on the opposite breast. After extensive scans and x-rays it has now been confirmed that it has spread to a number of Lymph nodes throughout my body and that it is also in my spine, groin and ribs. I will be starting my treatment on the 29th August and although I understand that a cure is not possible I am determined to live the best life with my family and friends for as long as possible.
When I went through Chemo 4 years ago I spent a majority of my time hiding away at home because I hated wearing a wig but also I was conscise of anyone seeing me bald or wearing a head scarf.
This time round I am determined never to waste a day hiding behind closed doors and if myself, my family and friends have to encounter this hideous disease again that some good has to come out of it. Due to this I have decided to Brave the Shave on the 9thSeptember. It will be at the Chequers Pub, Billericay. I Know that I am likely to lose my hair anyway but if we can make any money to help find a cure for Cancer in the process we would really appreciate it if you could sponsor me to do this in public. If you are free and can come down and support we would love to see you but if not we will also be putting this on social media.
Thanks so much for all your love and support.
