Firewalk for ACCORD

Firewalk - 2019 to help support ACCORD Hospice providing the best possible end of life and palliative care within Renfrewshire.
Sadly I have recently lost someone special to me. Ten years ago, I started working for a very special person, Sheila & her husband Tom, and within this time we became close friends, much more like family really.
Over the last coupe of years Sheila's health had deteriorated, resulting in her admission to the RAH. After a short time, it was decided that the best option for her would be to receive palliative care in the ACCORD Hospice, a place where she and her husband had been associated with since the beginning.
Up until that point, I have been lucky enough in life not to have visited anyone in a hospice before. When I did visit Sheila in ACCORD, I was overwhelmed with the whole experience: the staff were lovely and the rooms were beautifully decorated in calming, comforting colours. I think this was a lovely place for Sheila to spend the remainder of her life.
For this reason, my husband and I are doing the fire walk to help raise money for the hospice and for the continuation of the inspirational work that these people do! Please give a lot or even a little - after all, every little helps!
Thank you
Sarah & Thomas xx
