Royal Parks Half Marathon 2011 · 9 October 2011 ·
UPDATE:
The Half was today and I managed it in a chip time of 3 hours 4 minutes and 5 seconds - if you take off a toilet queue & break at the 3 mile mark (which I pathetically timed) the actual time was 2 hours 59 minutes and 15 seconds :)
Thank you all so much for your support xx Money is still coming in in dribs and drabs so please still feel free to donate xxx
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Late last year my Granny was diagnosed with the dementia stage of Alzheimer's. I love her to pieces and she is disappearing from us bit by bit. I live 500 miles away and do not see her as often as I would like. I take my hat off to my darling Grandad, Auntie, Uncle and Cousin for being there all the time. I also cannot imagine what this is like for my Dad and two uncles.
I cannot 'fix' my Granny, but I can help people research 'cures' and donate money for carers and advice. Please help me help others like her by donating whatever you can to the Alzheimer's Society.
Thank you so much xx
I did start to do a blog, but I've been really rubbish at keeping it up, but if you are curious:
