Mission Possible Abseil
Campaign by Cure Leukaemia (RCN 1100154)
On Thursday 5th September 2019, Cure Leukaemia's #MissionPossible Agents have their first chance to help Put Us Out Of Business by abseiling down one of Brindleyplace's tallest buildings to kick-off Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

Story

Hi All!

It's Catherine, Elise, Matthew, Rachel & Sarah here. On Thursday 5th September we will be abseiling down a building in Brindley Place! We are raising money for Cure Leukaemia, please help us by reaching our combined goal of £625!

On Tuesday 11th June 2019, Cure Leukaemia issued clear instructions to the #MissionPossible Agents committed to putting the charity out of business within 15 years.

This abseil in Brindleyplace on Thursday 5th September (Blood Cancer Awareness Month) is the first opportunity for me to prove myself as an agent! No training is required for this mission, simply a strong disposition!

Also during that evening, Cure Leukaemia announced it will begin funding 12 centres across the United Kingdom from January 2020. Specialist research nurses will be funded for a minimum of 3 years in these Centres who will work with the Centre for Clinical Haematology in Birmingham to deliver the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) thereby allowing rapid assessment of new treatments for blood cancers.

Every penny you donate will go towards funding this network which will not only directly help save lives but also hasten global progress towards eradicating blood cancer within 15 years.
