Dorothy House provides compassionate   care and support for people in my local community with life-limiting illness. Their focus is on Quality if life, helping patients to live and die well.

A Gorgeous friend of mine Mel Kidley recently had care at Dorothy House.

Mel had everything to live for, 2 beautiful daughters and a loving husband. Everyone that knew Mel truly loved and admired her. 

Mel fought like a warrior against cancer, endured endless Chemotherapy Treatments and other uncomfortable procedures. Despite all of this she was there to comfort others with more trivial issues and always had the most incredible smile.

Sadly Mel passed away at only 47 years old. There is a new star shining very brightly over us.

I can't let Mel's passing go without doing something in her  memory.

I would like to raise money for Dorothy House to ensure they can keep providing valuable care.

I consider myself to be very lucky with good health...well I could grumble about my bad back at times.  I have a good circle of family and friends that I love and I know love me.

You will know that until recently I couldn't run from 1 lamp post to the next. The challange I have taken on is to run 100km's during October.
This is going to be incredibly hard for me. It will take an awful lot of effort and commitment.  Mel Kidley has given me the purpose to work hard in her memory and run!!

I would ask if you can dig deep and support this cause.
