Story
I never normally raise money through my races but nothing is normal at the minute!!
I was due to be racing the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 29th March as part of my build to the Brighton Marathon. The London Landmarks route takes runners past a number of London's most iconic sights. As the race is now off the organisers have challenged participants to do a Local Landmarks Challenge! So on 29th Cooper and I will be taking to the streets of Market Harborough and running 13.1 miles around our local area, taking pictures at the landmarks. We're not going to be aiming for a great time, we'll just be taking it easy, enjoying our local area and being outside.
I know that right now is a very uncertain time for everyone and people may be cutting back and tightening their belts. However if you can spare even the smallest amount it would be amazing! A lot of charities will feel the hit from races and events being cancelled so every little helps!
I will be fundraising for Tommy's who organise the London Landmarks Challenge. Tommy's fund and conduct pioneering research into the causes and prevention of baby loss and provide expert care and information to help make pregnancy safer for everyone.
