Cancer has taken so many special people away from us all.

We took part in the Great North Run on Sunday to remember those people we love and raise money for the nurses who help them and their families at the most difficult time.

My best friend has just lost his mum Mo to cancer and my dad Brian lost his sister and brother-in-law, who he was named after, some years ago.

We wanted to raise funds for Macmillan because it was Eddie Latham's favourite charity.

Loved by all who knew him, Eddie "Elvis" Latham died after living four years with stomach cancer in January this year.  He was just 54.

This page is for everyone who has lost someone they love in their battle with cancer.
