Over the last few years we've raised money for Autism charities as a family. When I got a Great North Run ballot place, I decided that I wanted to raise money for a local charity that supports families whose children have Special Needs as I know how challenging and isolating this can be. Special Needs Circle have recently set up a base at Gresley Old Hall and would love to be able to add to the resources and support they can offer.

I've recently joined South Derbyshire Road Runners and have great support and inspiration for my running. At the time of writing this, my furthest run has been 10 miles so fund raising will spur me on for this half marathon.
