I have successfully completed the Great North Run in a little over 2 hours. It was a red hot day and quite a hilly route which surprised me.... The atmosphere was amazing though and the crowds that turned out to support us were just fantastic. I would certainly recommend it to anyone considering a half marathon and I look forward to doing it again next year hopefully.
