Story
This year me and the uni girls have decided to take part in the Belfast City Marathon on the 1st May 2022. In doing so we hope to raise money for Mencap NI.
Mencap support 1.4 million people in the UK. They help people with a Learning Disability to live their life as they choose and to gain an equal right to choice, opportunity and respect. Mencap provide around the clock care to help individuals with Learning Disabilities join in activities, provide information in things like employment and education and they help people live independently. Mencap not only supports the individual with Learning Disabilities but plays a part in supporting their families and carers.
As student Learning Disability nurses, this charity is close to our hearts and we would appreciate your support in donating whatever you can give.
