Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've had low vision all my life due to aniridia and nystagmus, but I like to think that this hasn't stopped me trying to do things or planning for what I want to do in the future.

Rare conditions are often sidelined, largely because they aren't as dramatic as others and so don't always get the research funds they need to develop clinical solutions. This of course doesn't mean that they don't have a significant impact on someone's life.

To raise awareness of and research funds for aniridia, I'm going to walk the streets of London for 15 miles at night on 19 September 2014, dressed in bright orange with a green hat - the nearest I could get to being a carrot (see my outfit for the ngiht last year above).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please donate what you can, so that others can see better in the future.
