One month before my 44th birthday I suffered a TIA - mini stroke caused by a blood clot. This was explained to me as a warning stroke by the amazing Consultants, Drs and Nurses at Lewisham Hospital Stroke Unit.
I am one of the lucky ones and the after effects of my TIA are reducing and I am getting back to good health.
I have joined my local running club and am back to plodding and jogging. This will no doubt help me in my training for this event to raise money for stroke survivors.
