In 2009, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I won that fight. I am now fighting again, this time bone cancer. I am doing good, and I decided to run this race and raise money for the Christie following a 'pinkie promise' with my best friend, Teresa. I ran this race in memory of a very brave lady, Carole. RIP xx

My two brothers, Danny and Robert, surprised me on the big day by turning up to run with us. It was emotional!

My inspiration in life comes from my husband Mike, and daughter Hannah - love you both xx
