Story

A year ago today (2nd December 2020), 7th Ealing Brownies lost their dear Snowy Owl, Sarah Clark, who took her own life.  We miss her greatly, as a fellow leader and Sister-in-Guiding, and her loss has left an unfillable hole in our lives.  Sarah Snowy Owl is now our Guiding Star, and we remember her with love and laughter often.

We:  Sarah Hunter (Rainbow Owl), Karen Whitehouse (Brown Owl), Hannah Mullan (Little Owl), Adele Steven (also Snowy Owl, but known as Snowy2 at 7th Ealing) and Lyn Collett (honorary Owl for this event, and friend of 7th Ealing) have formed a team called Snowy's Owls to both honor Sarah's memory and raise money for the Samaritan's, Ealing Branch. We are taking part in the London Winter Walk 2022, and will be walking a 1/2 marathon at the end of January.  We have self-funded our team, so every penny raised will directly benefit this fantastic charity.

We know it's a tall ask to request donations so near to Christmas, but every donation, be it large or small, is very gratefully received.  Please help us to help others who may be struggling with their mental health, especially those who might be hiding their struggles from their friends and family, as dear Sarah did.  Thank-you so very much.
