Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm looking to raise some much needed money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by running my first half marathon at the Great North Run in Newcastle in September and would love you to help by donating some pennies, or some pounds!

Motor neurone disease is a fatal disease that attacks the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work leaving people locked in a failing body. It is an incredibly cruel disease leaving people unable to move, talk, swallow and eventually breathe. Six people are diagnosed every day. The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those living with MND.

Running in memory of Tony Thompson, who loved outdoor adventures and all the things we can take for granted, taken from his family far too soon. Watch this 30 sec clip to see his inspirational paraglide https://www.bbc.com/news/av/uk-england-cumbria-41804805

Thanks so much for your support!
