Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am going to be running the ABF Great Curry Run, 22.09 kilometres, which is 10 metres for every serviceperson who has been killed or injured in action in Afghanistan.
Now bearing in mind the most running I've ever really done is chasing after prefects to get them to do their duties, and chasing after a little yellow lacrosse ball on Saturday morning, this could be a bit of a challenge for me! However, to quote my marathon running Uncle Paul, "We both must be mad, but as for running, is mainly sheer-bloody-mindedness to offset the pain." Wise words indeed...
So please, do donate as much as you can for such a worthy cause, and as I begin the sporadic revision for my science a-levels, allow me to turn to the insightfulness of the great Albert Einstein:
"The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving."
