Thanks for visiting my Just Giving Page! 2018 marks the reaching of the big '40' for me. So before my body starts to protest too much I've decided to take on the race habitually referred to as "the toughest foot race on earth". My ultimate 'bucket list' event. I'll be covering 150 miles over 6 days (including one day of at least 50 miles) in the beautiful, but brutal sand dunes of the Sahara desert. Oh, and it will be 50 degrees & I will be carrying all my own equipment (including food) for the week. Given the scale of this adventure it seemed selfish not to use this opportunity to raise some money for our fabulous local hospice. Please see information about their amazing work below. If this isn't worth digging deep for then I'm not sure what is?!!
