Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Feels real at last, after a couple of years of not knowing
on the 18th November 2022 I’ll travel out to Argentina I will then with a
small group fly to Patagonia. Esquel will be our first destination we will then travel on to Piedra Parada and Patagonia Steppe.

In 5 days we will trek along the Chabut River, Rio de la Horquesta and Estancia Saucal and each night we will camp.

We will also walk along Rifleros track to ‘Cwm Hyfryd’ with the snow-capped Andes in the distance.

We will finally visit Tevelin and the school at Escuela where we will get a chance to meet members of the local Welsh society.

Before we head back to Buenos Aires we will visit Gaiman and have breakfast at the famous tea house in Trelew.

Being a Welsh speaker and being brought up on tales of the Welsh families that left their homeland to make a new life on the other side of the world and passed the language on to their descendants.

At last I’ll get a chance to visit the area at the same time raising money for a well deserving charity that gives so much support to people in our community.
