I am passionate about ensuring the needs of people with learning disabilities are met whilst in our Hospital. The emergency department (ED) can be a scary environment for people with learning disabilities and other cognitive impairments. I am raising money to buy sensory equipment for the Trust ED's. Sensory equipment can help in decreasing patients anxieties so that the staff in ED can treat appropriately.
