Story
My lovely cousin, Phil Begley died in July 2022 of bowel cancer. After many weeks in hospital in particular at St George’s Hospital Tooting he was able to transfer to Princess Alice Hospice where he could be near to his family.
As he told me the night before he died, Phil and I were “besties”. Born in the same year we always had each others backs. You always knew if Phil was in the room at any family function and the Begley family will never be quite the same without him.
I am not built for running and 13 miles is a long way but Phil shouldn’t have died at 53 - I’ve put my running shoes on and will crawl round the course if I have to. Please support the Hospice by sponsoring me if you can.
