Story

Ruby is a pretty impressive 12 year old -despite her parents interference! She asked a couple of months ago if she could donate her hair to The Little Princess Trust, a charity who make wigs for children who suffer hair loss through chemotherapy. I sent her off to research the requirements and it turned out she had grown more than enough hair already.

In an effort to improve the lives of as many people as possible we have also chosen to raise money for Headlights Mental Health Charity. It is a charity that helped my cousin and his family and is in memory of our ‘Max in a million’, Max McGhee.

I hope that you will choose to support my gorgeous girl with her really rather good idea of being charitable and helping those less fortunate than herself.

Ps. She has fabulous hair that will make a great wig!

Pps. It is being cut on 11th August - a date sooner than she thought so she is now pretty nervous!

About the charity

Headlight Mental Health Charity is the registered charity of Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. We're here to make life better for the people who turn to the Trust for help with mental health problems.
