I am taking part in the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money in support of Parkinson’s Disease research at the University of Sheffield: There is no cure for Parkinson’s and no way to stop the disease from getting any worse. Our research will result in a huge leap forward towards personalised treatments for Parkinson’s, which could slow down or even stop how quickly the disease takes hold.
