I am taking part in the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money in support of Parkinson’s Disease research at the University of Sheffield:

There is no cure for Parkinson’s and no way to stop the disease from getting any worse. Our research will result in a huge leap forward towards personalised treatments for Parkinson’s, which could slow down or even stop how quickly the disease takes hold.

Why am I running the Sheffield Half Marathon?
I really enjoy exercising, however don't often push out of my comfort zone...
I am quite nervous about the many hills on the route but I am very excited to be running on the University team and to be raising money for such vital research.
It is a great opportunity to raised funds towards Parkinson's Disease research and to aid our researchers in developing treatments for Parkinson's Disease.
