For anyone who knows us, 2017 ended with a shock diagnosing for my husband. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). He was rushed to University College London Hospital (UCLH) where he received efficient and effective care. 

Every member of staff at that hospital was amazing and made sure that not only Dan but our whole family was listened too and cared for.  They have continued this care and support throughout his treatment, transplant and post-transplant care. 

We are taking part in this wonderful family event for the 2nd year and this year also marks 25 years of fundraising for Haematology Cancer Care fund.
