Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Royal Parks half marathon on 12/10/14 to raise money and awareness for the British Heart Foundation.

This charity is important to me, as my Granddad Michael died suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack 9 years ago in October, and I am now currently working on a Cardiac Intensive Care unit treating similar patients who have fortunately managed to receive timely medical care. The British Heart Foundation is an excellent organisation which offers support to both families and patients affected by both congenital disease and heart failure, and also conducts life saving research on a daily basis to prevent and treat such conditions. Unfortunately like many charities, the BHF relies on donations to fund this research, and keep discovering new treatments and cures.

Please bear this in mind and dig deep, any donations gratefully received!
