Story
Although secondary breast cancer can be treated, there is no cure. Unlike those living with primary breast cancer, there is no end of treatment, there is no remission. It’s estimated that 35,000 people are currently living with secondary breast cancer in the UK yet only 7% of the National funding for cancer goes towards this incurable disease. Make 2nds Count aim to address this imbalance
Hi!
I did this cycle with my ten year old son today. I was too disorganised to create this page before the event. Today when we completed the challenge i realised it was a missed opportunity to raise some funds for a very worthy cause. Looking around at the other entrants i saw so many people doing their bit either in memory of friends and family or towards buying new equipment or research into illnesses and conditions that rely on funding.
So here it is......
Please donate what you can, be it £1 or £2 the donation amount doesnt matter. What matters is i got my act together, created this page and also created a fantastic memory of a great day out with my son, Ellis.
