Our beautiful Maria battles with the cruel and gruelling affects of Multiple Myeloma and the brutal treatments required to try to keep it controlled, every day. In three long years Ria has undergone surgery to remove a tumour from her spinal cord, Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, a Stem Cell Transplant and remains on chemo treatment for life.

There is no cure for myeloma and we pray for time for the cure to be found. Treatments are advancing, and further advancements have to come in time for our beautiful Ria and the many other warriors who so need treatments to further progress, and a cure to be found. 

On Saturday we will be coming together to show our love for our beautiful Ria and our support for Myeloma UK.  Our runners will be Karen, Oliver, Craig and Tami and the rest of us will be doing our very best Cheerleading :) 

Every penny really does count. We all know times are tough but if you can spare a pound or two it all adds up to something really important.
