In 2011 my husband Henry was diagnosed with Myeloma, a treatable but incurable blood cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant which sent Myeloma to sleep for a few years, it has now returned.  Henry is at present undergoing chemotherapy with a second stem cell transplant on the horizon.

I am hosting a coffee and cake morning in order to raise awareness and funds for Myeloma UK who are a fantastic charity. As well as fundraising we have both been speakers at a London Myeloma UK event, written an article on being a carer and I am also a member of their Peer Network.
