Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money in memory of my beautiful wife, Sarah Nixon who tragically passed away on 17th January 2013 after being diagnosed with a very rare and aggresive form of ovarian cancer in November 2012.

Sarah leaves behind three beautiful children - Oliver (5), Sophia (3) and Poppy (3 months). Sarah was previously fit and healthy and would be the last person you would expect to die young. She was the most loving mother you could ever meet and was truly devoted to her three young children.

The tragic story was widely reported in Newcastle Journal and Evening Chronicle. Follow links below to articles:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Remember, over one in three people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives. Money is being raised in aid of Cancer Research in the hope that we can rid the world of this wicked disease for future generations or even our children.

Thanks in advance for your donation.
