We did it!!!!!! I ran it in 3 hrs 56 mins 30 secs and dad 4 hrs 36 min 54 secs so we are very pleased with ourselves :-) Thanks again to everyone who sponsored me, it means a lot!

Hi Everyone

On 23rd May I am running the Edinburgh Marathon along with my dad and hoping to raise as much money as I can for The British Lung Foundation.

As some of you will know, my mum-in-law Wendy was diagnosed last year with Pulmonary Fibrosis, which is a disease that results in scarring of the lungs and this  stops the lungs from functioning properly. Wendy has recently had a successful Lung Transplant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and is recovering well.

The British Lung Foundation is the only UK charity working for everyone affected by lung disease. They focus on providing support for people affected by lung diseases and work in a variety of ways, including funding world-class research to bring about positive change, to improve treatment, care and support for people affected by lung disease now and in the future.
