UPDATE: After being postponed twice due to Covid restrictions and lockdowns, I set off in October 2020, got kitted up and strapped to a very nice (and hopefully very experienced at skydiving) man, and up in the air we flew. Nerves were at maximum level, and just before we were about to jump the pilot made the call to return to the ground because the weather suddenly turned. So we sat back down (on the floor) and landed in the plane. This plane was like sitting on the floor in the back of a transit van, so the landing wasn't the best experience, but I did have a quite spectacular eccles cake when I got back on solid ground as a consolation prize.
So... 4th time lucky. I'm off to try again on Saturday 2nd April. My nerves are wrecked, I've lost my enthusiasm just a tad, and I'm going to need all the support I can get to make me get back in that plane again! Please help if you can :)

This year I'm going to be 40, and to mark this I've decided to throw myself out of a plane (elegantly I hope) to raise money for Hope House & Ty Gobaith children's hospices. I'm lucky enough to work for this incredible organisation, and am blown away by the work that they do in the hospices and in the community. This wouldn't be possible without fundraising income.
I'm doing something terrifying. Please help me to get through it by giving what you can!
