The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

As a team, we work by supporting people with dementia and their families based in Bristol. Many of those living with dementia are currently cut off from their families, communities and support networks they rely on. This is having a devastating effect on their wellbeing. We are asking you on their behalf to please help and allow us to continue supporting our service users through this tough time.

Therefore, we have decided as a group of Dementia Navigators, to get involved in the Nations 2.6 Challenge! We have decided to dance together via Zoom for a non-stop 26 minutes, because who doesn't love a dance?

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and we will be sure to share proof of our dance for you all!
