I'm part of a team of Ferryhill folk who are aiming to travel 1000+ miles between 5th September - 3rd October to raise lots of money for the Archie Foundation.  It is up to each of us how we clock up the miles - I am going to be wearing a pedometer so will be walking everywhere if possible and doing my usual daily dashing about after the kids.

The Archie Foundation makes a difference to sick children and their families in the north of Scotland. All the money that our team raises will be going towards the ARCHIE Paediatric Management Nurse Appeal. Chronic pain management in children is not a core NHS service, and together with training and specialist equipment, costs £50,000 a year to provide. It makes a real difference but the charity desperately needs your help to fund this crucial service.
