When I was given the opportunity to join this awesome team and take part in this challenge I was Initially terrified but knew deep down I would say yes ! Myself and 5 amazing teammates aim to swim the the English Channel as a relay team . This is by far the biggest challenge I have ever taken on and I am by no means a proficient swimmer. But , I do love a challenge and love to push myself outside my comfort zone to see what i am capable of achieving . I would also like to show my children that you can achieve whatever you want in life if you are prepared to try new things. I am confident  that with this amazing  team behind me will achieve our goal to reach France and most importantly raise money for a fantastic charity 

COSMIC supports the children’s and neonatal intensive care
units at St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital by helping patients and their families and by enabling the dedicated team of doctors and nurses treat hundreds of babies and children each year in intensive care.

COSMIC go above and beyond what the NHS can’t afford by purchasing vital state of the art equipment; providing training for health professionals; funding a programme of ground-breaking research into life threatening diseases; and supporting families through one of the most difficult times in their life with one to one support, advice and accommodation for parents.
