Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in a 27 mile trek in the Peak District on 6th July to raise money and awareness of the issues some young people in our society face.  Any of you who know me well, know this is quite a personal challenge for me :)

Everybody needs support networks, they are what get us through times that are hard and help us celebrate the good times!

I am fundraiing to develop projects with young people who have left or are about to leave statutory care.  Many of these young people live alone with little support and as a consequence of this often face difficulties such as loneliness, poor mental health, homelessness amongst other daily battles.

We create projects with young people to develop skills, confidence and support networks so that they can take control of their lives now and in the future

Every penny will be spent wisely on projects that I am directly developing and managing with young people locally.

Please support us in any way you can

Thanks very much

Sarah
